Jean Hutson

Jean has a solid background in marketing and business development, with extensive experience in the not for profit sector. With strong management, leadership and communication skills she has held senior fundraising roles within several not for profits.

She firmly believes that one of the strengths of any community is the often silent service that thousands of volunteers contribute to countless organisations. So, as a resident of Box Hill for more than 25 years, she was delighted to be given the opportunity to join the Board of the Whitehorse Community Chest - to give back and support local charities who are working to relieve disadvantage at a grass roots level.

Jean ran a successful direct marketing agency in the City of Whitehorse for more than 12 years before deciding to take an extended sabbatical to sail a yacht half way round the world! When she's not sailing she's probably dancing or spending time with her extended family.
